LAUREL

Laurel is a 3rd class municipality located in the province of Batangas, Philippines. According to the 2020 census, its population is 43,210. It was previously a barangay of Talisay and was known as Bayuyungan before becoming a municipality. It is a small town that has its own local government and provides basic services to its residents such as education, healthcare, and infrastructure. The town also has its own historical and cultural heritage, as well as local economic activities.
