Gawad Kalinga Community Development Foundation Inc.

Established in 2003, Gawad Kalinga is a non-profit organization whose mission is to end poverty for more than a million local families in 6 years. It rsquo;s easier said than done but the company frequently organizes outreach programs to help the needy. Before the programs, they get help from people coming from all walks of life to volunteer in their activities. The organization rsquo;s mission has become so popular that other countries used the Gawad Kalinga village model as a basis for establishing similar communities. With more than 16 area coordination teams, the company rsquo;s presence is felt in almost every province in the Philippines. Currently, Gawad Kalinga is currently focused on helping the damaged areas and building peace in Mindanao.
